These are now being featured on my Schaefer Guitars Website and are available to order with a fairly short wait. Due to demand in costs, the price of the Mule Teams will go up to $1995 as of Feb. 1, 2013. I will still honor the $1695 price til then but the down payment must be received by 1/31/13. The Mule Teams are getting rave reviews!

Ed Schaefer and Rich Rinehart are now joined by Matt Beebe on third guitar! We play jazz standards that will knock you out of your seats. Every other Friday night, 7 PM – 9 PM, at Zorba Greek Diner at Southpark Meadows Shopping area (I-35 and Slaughter). Great Greek food, wine, beer and plenty of music! Hope to see you there!!!

The Mule Bass

Announcing, there will be a Mule Team Bass. It will be short scale, 32″ with two EMG Pick Ups and Grover tuners. It will look like a Mule, but be slightly larger in body. There’s some photos on Facebook of the design process. Check it out! That’s Kelsey in the photos with me. She works on this website, and is a wizard on bass! Call to reserve your early serial number.

Announcing the Baby Mule

Schaefer Guitars will begin production on a new line of Mules — The Baby Mule. This is going to be a scaled down version of the solid body Mule Team Guitars, a four string mandolin. Reasonably priced of course, and all the high end quality that we always produce at Schaefer Guitars. More info soon.

I do not advertise this too often, but I do offer customized apprentiship programs…..this is another way of saying luthier school!!! Yes…you pay me and come in and learn to build by watching me!
